Sheen Lions Summer Soccer Six 2017 – Starting

A reminder that Sheen Lions Summer Soccer Six starts, Saturday June 10th and runs for six Saturdays until July 15th.

Players should arrive at Palewell Common by 08:50 latest so they are ready to start promptly at 09:00.

Late comers may find themselves excluded from the session until there’s a convenient breaker them to join.

Current Sheen Lions members should wear their Sheen Lions training kit for the sessions. Players trialing should wear their own football training kit with plain (not replica) shirts.

All players must wear shin pads and bring refreshment. The ground will be hard so short molded studs or astros will be most suitable.

 

Lead coaches, wearing Sheen lions tops, for each age group will probably be:

U6 & U7 Abdoullah Kheir (AK)
U8 Sam Grayson (SG)
U9 Michael Morgan (MM)
U10 Gareth Crewe (GC)
U11 Trevor Hodge (TH)

Parents, if you are not staying to watch please ensure you are back before 10.30 to collect your child.

    This is a reminder of the expectations of the club regarding time keeping.

    A few coaches and managers have asked that i email parents, as today they witnessed several boys arriving late for Summer Soccer Six. Not only does this show a lack of respect for the coach and fellow team mates, it is also extremely disruptive to the session in progress.

    Arriving to start promptly on time for the start of the session
    should be no different than arriving on time for school.
    We take what we are providing here at the club very seriously
    and expect boys to arrive on time, be kitted up and prepared to work hard, and do their very best. Good time keeping is all part of the boys learning to take responsibility, be organised and have self discipline.

    Latecomers will risk being excluded from the session.
    Persistant lateness may result in the boy being de-registered from the club altogether.Please do not let it come to that.

    9.00am – 10.30am

    Please ensure your son is properly dressed for the weather conditions.
    Sheen Lions designated training wear ONLY must be worn unless your son is new and trialing. SHIN PADS AND FOOTBALL BOOTS MUST BE WORN. Please supply refreshment too.
