On Friday 17th July the Government issued its Return to recreational team sport framework. This put the responsibility on each National Governing Body (English FA) in our case to agree a plan with them. On Saturday 18th The FA issued GUIDELINES FOR THE RETURN OF OUTDOOR COMPETITIVE GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL.
In December 2020 the FA issued revised guidance UPDATED COVID-19 GUIDANCE ISSUED FOR ‘NON-ELITE’ FOOTBALL IN ENGLAND AFTER LOCKDOWN. This adds indoor football but makes no noticeable change to outdoor football.
Members of Sheen Lions, those attending to trial and the Coaches we use have agreed to our Data Protection Privacy Notice. This privacy notice was changed on 21st July 2020 to make it clear that we may record and share information with NHS Track and Trace. You may review the revised Policy here.
Members of Sheen Lions and those attending to trial have agreed to our rules. Our Club Regulations have been updated to say that “The Club will when required by the Government or by the sport’s national governing body (The English FA) put in place appropriate measures to mitigate any health emergency. All players, coaches, managers, assistant managers and other team officials as well as parents/spectators at the Club will be required to comply with any measures adopted by the Club“. You may review the revised Regulations here.
Details of the measures in place to Combat Covid-19 are listed below for each group. These measures are mandatory, they implement the FA Guidelines that have been agreed by the Government to allow Grass Roots football to take place and they form part of the risk mitigation that we have agreed with LBRUT that is required for the use of the Palewell facility. A similar Agreement will be made with Rosslyn Park.
